Many children posting...no control what so ever. Has a "members only forum" for $60 per year but even the admins don't go there, most people call that stealing.

Great comments from a stand up gentalmen, shows how mature Mr ChuckwK is.

Will get a bad name for expensive advertising with no repete business. All show and no go.

You can't make a living selling adult items to children.

What a joke, Lawnsite had a BBQ and didn't even pay the bills and then thay boast about making $200k a year. Are those really advertisers or free buttons?

Where's Mike's money from the BBQ? You got paid from the advertisers. Then you turn around and stiff him. I told people not to donate money to you while you were bragging how much money you were making.

You got balls! Let's see if you got the balls to show at an expo! I am anticipating your arrival someday! ...Oh that's right... you sign the name "Sean Adams" with your e-mails to your advertisers. OOOOPS, did I just reveal something?

LawnCafe.com rocks!

All the other green industry forums are just copycat forums.
Lawnsite.com is the original and best forum.
Got to the other forum, and all they do is talk about lawnsite.com and how they want to be just like lawnsite.com

Nope.... wrong again! That name is locked out and I refuase to allow that name at our site. So... go searching and you will find that you are far from the truth, but what else is new.

In straight comparison, Lawncafe.com is definitely easier on the eyes and a pleasure to navigate.
What a jerk!

Sean Adams banned me from lawnsite.com simply for being a member of other forums. He asked where I had been and he needed to ban me if I didn't post at LS. Now I see why he won't even show for any expos. What comes around, goes around! I was a member for years, and put in much info on your site. Thanks for nothing Sean!

It is interesting that LawnSite gets criticized by such a small group of people over and over again. They whine and complain and make ridiculous claims about the site, its moderators and even its owner. The bottom line is simple... LawnSite.com is the orignal lawn forum. It is the largest forum out there - hands down. It has more traffic in a day than these other "wannabe" forums generate in a month. It is well moderated and has a diverse mix of busines owners with the most options to learn from its amazing content. From what I have seen ownership is fair, creative, and always looking for ways to improve the site and the industry as a whole. But to give everyone reading here a more descriptive reason as to why you see this hand-full of bashers is this....they make up a new industry site - a wannabe carbon-copy if you will, made up primarily of banned members from lawnsite.com. To put a cherry on top, these other forums, one pathetic one in particular actually falsifies its membership numbers to appear bigger and give people the impression it is growing. Check the stats that matter and you will see 99% of their members have one or fewer posts...weird, huh? The same 15-20 people do all of the posting and they are having the same conversations over and over again with one-another. I've seen them all....lawnsite.com, hands-down the best in the business.

Looks as if the original is a little intimated by a new forum on the block. Here's to wishing the cafe all the best!!! :)

why in the world would LawnSite be intimidated by such a wannabe site such as "The Cafe"...if it wasn't for the shady things "The Cafe" has always done, LawnSite probably wouldn't even know "The Cafe" existed..keep up the great work LawnSite & staff, the site keeps getting bigger and better...

LawnSite is very proud of what it has developed into. We are proud to the be the original and the largest forum out there. We are even more proud of the actual site itself - the options, diversity, and discussions. We appreciate our members who make the site what it is and we appreciate the sponsors who make it possible.

I have said this a million times before - we welcome competition. It is good for the industry to give people options - different perspectives... All along I have had one simple expectation and request - anyone competing with LawnSite be professional and ethical. Sadly enough, some people will stoop to extremely low levels (both unethical and illegal)...

spamming our members, stealing our graphics, using our name for their benefit, falsifying their site statistics, making threats, trolling our site - and the list goes on and on

Bottom line...LawnSite does not concern itself with anyone but LawnSite. We do what we do and go about our business...

Intimidated? Nah.... Flattered? Maybe... What is that saying? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Do you think we will ever see this man who claims to be a green industry consultant at lawncaresuccess.com? Maybe, just maybe he will climb out of his dark hole for once since owning lawnsite.com? I guess he is too busy reading members' private messages (internal e-mails), or just a plain chicken, like others claim! How can so many people hate this guy? It's plain to see why. If you ever have the kahoons to confront any and all people you tried to intimidate that joined these carbon copy sites, just show your face!

We all know the owner won't even show at his own lawnsite fair. He can't even tell the truth about not showing at an expo, leaving a booth empty in St. Louis. $25 admission for a bbq, in which sponsors will be forced to pay like an expo to be present? $25 for a t-shirt? $60 for a year membership to an exclusive forum? Asking for donations to help keep the site alive?

I thought this guy welcomed competition? From the dribble written here, lawnsite just ain't as "professional" as they claim to be! I applaud all the "carbon copy" sites and am glad to see them doing well. Best of luck to all of them.... lawnforums.com, lawnserviceforum.com, lawncafe.com, letstalksnow.com, plowcafe.com, heavyequipmentforums.com

Go pound sand, Lawnsite!
