While FTE offers the greatest number of forums and a very active community of users with decades of hands-on experience, go there and use their site with caution. I mean EXTREME caution! If you happen to run afoul of an administrator's feelings about the way you write your posts, even though those posts may be entirely within their rules (that NO ONE reads...Tim...Ken...NO ONE READS them!).

Then, when you express displeasure with that administrator "stalking" you, they cut you off as though you were some sort of internet terrorist..no kidding, just like that...and there is NO discussion about it.

So, they are willing th throw away an avid site user and supporter to satisfy some sort of ego trip on the part of the site administrators. I happen to be that rare user who has actually spent real money with their advertisers (and would spend more if they'd just give in).

Keep all this in mind as you write your stories and advice to each other. You are expendable. You need not swear, cuss, threaten, or "stalk" someone to be permanently barred from this finicky site...just use one of their available typeface fonts, one an administrator happens to not like, in a color he doesn't like, and they will attack you in such a way that you won't want to ever go back...if it weren't for the other fine site users there...who don't even know THEY are just numbers...and expendable.

End of my story. When this site fails...only these readers will actually know why.

Well, sonny, if you want to put up with the bs there, go right ahead. It's your time. I have run into someone who has left FTE on almost every other forum I visit.

You, my friend, are either one of the chosen few, have succumbed to the paypal puppet and paid for your membership, or will soon be "ex-communicated" for some minor "violation". Mark my words.

i myself has been kicked off for posting in a thread that i was no longer going to be on FTE. and explain a few small things no details. well an administrator post back asking me for some details and said i could if i wanted to personal message him if i didnt feel confortable expressing it in public. well i posted it publically and they banned me cause i publically expressed my dissagreance with the mods and admins. well aparently thats against site rules to publically express those feelings. so i basically got tricked into getting banned. the site sucks. find another forum like i have to post on.

I recently started driving a Ford F250 at work and soon after experienced a problem with the pedals....I was coming to a stop applying the brake when my shoe accidently hit the edge of the accelerator pedal. I rear-ended another vehicle before I realized what happened. Has this happened to anyone else out there? I feel the pedals are too close together. When wearing heavy safety shoes one must be very careful! Please let me know if anyone has had this experience or know someone who has.

I have a 2004 f150 5.4 The problem is a misfire. I plugged in my OBD2/EODB scanner and the reading read #3 misfire. Well the engine has 84K so I changed the plugs, which was no easy task, it resulted with a worse miss. Scanned again and got P0001 and P0300. Today I changed the fuel filter, just drawing at straws now, but no change. Still has a very definite miss. What has me puzzled is that the check eng light did not come even after I road tested it. Any help on this problem or problems will be greatly appreciated.
