A great site for people who purchase/run heavy machinery to share insights and advice. A good group of people, this site is kept free of the language you might expect to find in this industry. There are good guys out there running heavy equipment!

I also enjoy seeing the pics of the different equipment in use (or sometimes, stuck).

Heavy Equipment Forums is an incredibly Anti-Union forum, they claim they are not at all biased or prejudiced against any union, but several members have been banned for Pro-Union Activity. If you join this forum, be warned, it is a very anti-union forum. There is a lot to be gained from Heavy Equipment Forums, if you are not an advocate of any union or union activity.

No member has *ever* been banned from Heavy Equipment Forums for "pro-union activity."

We recognize that in our industry the question of union vs non-union is a potential hot-button issue, and we try to limit conflict by a policy I would describe as being "aggressively neutral". While discussion of unions is by no means prohibited, any extremes of anti-union posting are just as discouraged as any extremes of pro-union posting.

Hey disheartened did someone step on your toes or why are you lashing out at Heavy Equipment Forums? If you'll read through there one of the forums one of the biggest posters ends each component with beinga proud member of some union. There's also discussion on joining unions and there are a lot of positives listed.
